Storylines 2025 Story Tour Programme Update

In 2025, Storylines Story Tours will feature several key changes to enhance their impact and inclusivity.

Applications are now open, including for Kura Kaupapa Māori and bilingual units, ensuring greater engagement with te reo Māori-speaking communities.

Each tour will include six presenters, an increase from four in 2024, with two fluent te reo Māori speakers who will deliver presentations bilingually or entirely in te reo Māori at full-immersion kura.

The five scheduled tours will reach new and diverse regions;

19-23 May 2025

Visiting Gisborne and Wairoa Districts

9-13 June 2025

Visiting the greater Auckland Region

18-22 August 2025

Visiting Whangārei and the Far North

1-5 September 2025

Visiting Huntly, Ngāruawahia, Hamilton, Waipa and Otorohanga Districts

3-7 November 2025

Visiting Tasman, Nelson and Marlborough
